WHY

Secondary and university education is a source of economic prosperity, stability and security and a way to strengthen democratic institutions, reducing unemployment even in times of recession. Expanding access to education over the age of 14 is also essential to reduce inequalities. Although in the last 20 years the Indian government has invested considerably in the education sector, some critical issues remain: to date, half of the students who enrol in the first grade do not continue their studies beyond the tenth grade, moreover there are still many discriminations among the marginalised groups of the population such as girls and minority ethnic groups.

WHY

WHAT

CARE TO ACTION with the collaboration of its partners supports the study of girls and boys who have recently finished high school and who would like to continue their studies and enrol at university.
Often their economic conditions prevent them from accessing the University: this is the reason the School4Future program was born. It offers the opportunity to continue studying, to attend university, graduate and enter the world of work.
The scholarships are offered exclusively to the most deserving students, who have distinguished themselves for their excellent academic performance. Our goal, in fact, is to give the possibility to those who have the skills but not the means, to cultivate their talent and to graduate.
